Account Management
Maintain accurate business information including valid Trade License and TIN number
Use secure passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available
Never share account credentials with unauthorized persons
Business Practices
Provide accurate product descriptions and pricing in both Amharic and English
Honor all confirmed orders and transactions as per Ethiopian Consumer Protection laws
Respond to customer inquiries promptly in their preferred language
Maintain fair pricing practices in accordance with Ethiopian trade regulations
Customer Service
Treat all customers with respect regardless of their background or region
Address complaints and issues within 24 hours during business days
Maintain customer privacy as per Ethiopian data protection guidelines
Prohibited Activities
No fraudulent activities or misrepresentation of identity or products
No harassment or discriminatory behavior based on ethnicity, religion, or region
No unauthorized commercial activities or parallel trading
No violation of Ethiopian laws and regulations
Violation of these guidelines may result in account suspension or termination and possible legal action under Ethiopian law. Akafay reserves the right to modify this code of conduct at any time.
